Three Reasons Handcrafted Homes Is a Better Way to Build
Faster
Welcome to the future of home construction. The skilled craftsmen at LGS Homes, along with your local builder, can build your home in a third of the time versus traditional on-site construction. With system-built home construction, you no longer have to ride out delays due to weather or contractor no-shows. Building takes place in the controlled environment of our state-of-the-art factory.
From approval of the design and construction estimate, our homes are ready for delivery in seven days. Your local builder prepares your building site and performs final finishing, which can range from simple painting, tiling and trim work to construction of whole sections, depending upon the design. Generally, the whole process takes only six to ten weeks after delivery, versus six months to a year with traditional construction.
Better
Because system-built homes need to be strong enough to handle delivery to the home site, they are constructed stronger than those built on site. Interior and exterior walls are built to be twice as strong as traditional interior and exterior walls often used in on-site construction. Because of this, system-built homes tend to do better in extreme conditions—a big consideration for beach homes and those in flood plains. Day to day, you’ll never notice the difference until it matters most.
Stronger
Once they’re installed on their foundations, system-built homes are no different than any other in the neighborhood, except that they are more energy efficient than any other traditionally constructed home will ever be. Because system-built homes are constructed from the inside out, drywall seams, outlet joints and other openings can be sealed airtight from behind, before they are enclosed in the outer walls. You’ll appreciate the difference with every energy bill. Step into the future. A system-built home is truly one of your dreams.
